Keynote speakers

Mark McCrindle
Mark McCrindle is a social researcher, best-selling author, influential thought leader and TED speaker. He is recognised globally as coining the name for the emerging generation, Generation Alpha. Mark’s advisory, communications and research company, McCrindle, count among its clients more than 100 of the nation’s largest companies and leading international brands.
Mark’s highly valued social commentary is presented through his engaging keynotes, research, reports, infographics, videos and media input. He is a trusted advisor and sits on the board of a number of different organisations, after having developed his regard as an expert demographer, futurist and social commentator.
Mark McCrindle, BSc (Psychology), MA, is the author of five books on emerging trends and social change.

Anna Bligh AC
In 2007 Anna Bligh became a household name when she became the first female Premier of Queensland, but her legacy as a State leader will be the exceptional leadership she provided to the State, and the Nation, in the face of the tragedy of the flood and storm disasters of 2011. Anna Bligh, the Premier of QLD, certainly made a difference. Her presence and compassion for the suffering of fellow Queenslanders was a reassuring sign that help was on its way. The reconstruction of the homes, businesses and infrastructure was the Premier’s priority and Anna led the restoration charge, never shirking accountability.
For her work in the Education sector Anna has been granted an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Queensland. For her leadership in crisis, Anna has been awarded Australia’s National Emergency Medal.
Since 2017, Anna has led the Australian Banking Association through a period of critical reform, delivering on the recommendations of the Royal Commission while working to strengthen bank culture and maintain trust in the banking sector. Anna concluded her role with the Banking Association in August 2025.
Anna was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia in the 2017 Australia Honors list. She is a leader who has led in the toughest of times. She is a gifted speaker, a passionate supporter of the Arts and a role model for women. Anna is also the author of the widely acclaimed book “Through the Wall”.
